WHY GIVING?

Act for the preservation of biodiversity, of outstanding universal value, Encourage the protection and management of the natural heritage.

The WASF is a trust fund for the environment of the sub-region of West Africa, “a charitable organization” which aims constant funding for biodiversity, preservation of outstanding universal value, and / or the lasting management of the biodiversity of Protected Areas (PA) in regard of the WAP complex within the North Benin.

The WASF also ensures that constant financial support is available for preservation, especially through public institutions of PA management (CENAGREF in Benin), but also via private sectors or non-governmental institutions committed to preservation: NGO, social associations or cooperatives (AVIGREF), or in some cases, academic and research institutions….

Despite the fact our missions are been valued by all, we lack resources to achieve our set goals. As such, we solicit and count on donation, financial support and / or equipment from generous donor which will be directly used for preservation. A contribution, even smaller, would allow us to continue into the actions we have already worked for.

The accounts of the association are crossed check and certified by an auditor. They can be consulted in our activity report.
